We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to support conducting a baseline assessment of service readiness and Hyperglycemia in Pregnancy (HIP) prevalence, including a comprehensive mapping of private healthcare services.
Position: Research Associate – Consultants (8 Positions)
Location: One of the study districts or hospitals with field visits frequently
Duration: Approximately 4 months (by February 2026)
Position Overview
The Research Associate- Consultant will support the baseline assessment of HIP prevalence, including mapping private healthcare services, by managing field-level data collection and assisting with transcription, preliminary analysis, and reporting, under the guidance of the Research Coordinator
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in research, monitoring, or evaluation.
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
- Experience in health research and familiarity with health facilities.
- Understanding of ethical research principles and informed consent procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data collection tools (e.g., ODK, Kobo) preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in field settings
